The first guest blog, my buddy Tony " I will guess every mystery car" has been promoted to deputy blogger.
I have been browbeating him about going into the shopping mall in N. Daytona because there is a NASCAR Museum in there. He thought I was nuts I guess, but this time I gave him all info and pointed him towards the Radio Shack and low and behold the Living Legends of Auto Racing, IN THE MALL and its FREE!
He reports the old timers in there were very talkative and informative, but they neglected to mention another closed storage area with the cars below?
Famous Fabulous Hudson Hornet Twin H power!
Nice tribute displays and memorabilia.
Ah the old race on the beach before the speedway was built!
You are looking for the food court, just make a left past the Pontiac and you will see Manchurian Wok!
THE KING
He just missed speed week activities next week when they have parades and many more old NASCARS!
Yeah the race was run on the beach back in the day!
Good job Tony! Why not see what's on your way when driving get off the road for awhile and take some photos when you are on a road trip!
A REMINDER TAKE SOME TIME AND BACKTRACK ON THE BLOG, I CAN SEE THE NUMBERS AND SOME OF THE RECENT ONES SEEM TO HAVE SLIPPED PAST, PLUS FOR SOME REASON THE PUBLISHED ORDER IS OUT OF SEQUENCE SO YOU MAY HAVE MISSED A FEW?
