YES IT'S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN THE 2020 DETROIT AUTORAMA, GREAT 8 AND THE RIDLER AWARD

This has become a CARHUNTER tradition since 2014 as I try to pick the winner of the Ridler award from a distance!
CARHUNTER had a good run then I got off the track!
The link above explains the Ridler Award

My approach to the choice is the winner has to be something that catches your attention from across the display area!
I want to repeat I am not there so it has just become an internet observance and some fun!
This is where I picked up the 1st view of the BASF Great 8 with only one being the winner of the Ridler Award for 2020

Like I said my pick always is my 1st impression so I have narrowed it down to 3 in order that I will try to thin down to 1 choice!

Reactions are mixed, the 55 Chevy and 34 Ford Pickup are getting attention, but I am sticking with the Caddy!

1956 Oldsmobile 98
Jeffrey Hess

My early choice with sleek lines unique look and that chopped Carson-ish top!

1955 Cadillac Coupe

Need to see more hopefully tomorrow
I AM STARTING TO LEAN TOWARD THE CADDY 😎

I am going to load the scale a little, the 55 Cadillac was never a suicide door car, nor a pillarless 4 door hardtop!

I can not wait to hear what went into building this car, did you notice no B pillars, latches hidden below?

1934 Ford Pickup
Jerry Logan
Toledo, WA.

1969 Camaro
Tim and Angie Wheeler
Muskogee, OK.

1966 Ford Pickup
George Conrad
Huron, OH.

1963 Chevy Wagon
Brad, Brady and Cory Ranwelier
New Ulm MN.

1955 Chevy Belair
Bob Mantranga
Newport Coast CA.

1929 Ford Model A Pickup
Greg and Gail Wilson
Lousville, KY.
All the cars look like excellent craftsmanship, but that unique look is my hook!
Follow along with an update tomorrow and Sunday night lets see if I am right?
I will make a final choice by Sunday morning
