FORWARD CONTROL PICK UPS

I kept saying Forward Control. There is no more perfect example than the Jeep Forward Control= FC-150 and FC-170.
150 Short and 170 Long
 1956-1964
It kind of started as a sort of pick up, but just a few crazy conversions and then back to Cab Forwards.

Many of  these were custom built, the FC may have been one of the most versatile designs ever!
Jeep had some contract in Spain to produce a vehicle known as a VIASA SV in various versions- an FC spin off?

Jeep (Kaiser-Willys) was working on the next generation called the WIDE-TRAC and never was more than a concept vehicle in 1960.
