It is a 4 day event, why it seems to rain every year is a mystery? Locals seem to shun it, use it or lose it!! For folks that live within an hour of Knoxville have to realize if they don't support it they will have to drive 4+ hours to an NSRA show. CARHUNTER hold little value in local weekly cruise ins and car shows when you could see cars and meet people from all over the USA
It starts Thursday at the host hotel where you can get your credentials for the show.
One of two Bentleys this year
Thursday continues with a kick off party at Scott's Hot Rods with some great BBQ!
Projects are always great to check out.
Datsun Z somewhere in there!
Have seen many OBS stepside beds used, but look at the little details on this one including the moldings
This guy enjoyed telling everyone it's a 1936 Cord, well it is Neoclassical retro later model replica, that's a mouthful
And Friday at the show the rain relentless so we held off until Saturday with spotty rain- advantage of being nearby!
There is an F series 70's Ford pickup in here!
Attendance down, heck yeah as spots in the "circle" were available!
I did see registration numbers near 1000 just in passing
Long Roof's have been seen a lot lately
Bentley #2
Not the usual full parking areas!
Sunday the winners are placed in the arena
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL CAR SHOWS OR THEY GO AWAY!
Just a quick note about a show CARHUNTER drove down to Georgia to attend
It was hyped and promoted and was awful, low turnout, mostly local car cruise in attendees, even with a $60 entry per car.
The Vicari Auction had a terrible accident that injured 7 people and glad to report all were released from the hospital over the weekend!
It shut the show down at 1pm on Friday, cancelling the parade that night.
I am not sure if I am going to even post any coverage of the show, maybe later as a little filler.
