CHATTANOOGA COKER TIRE CRUISE IN 2017 PART 1

Now once a year surrounding the famous Coker Tire the streets are shut down and the cars come from everywhere!

One side is a race version and color chart

The other side appears stock!
Sorry some of the photos were fuzzy, it was dark when we arrived and COLD!

Can you help him rotate his tires this weekend?

Next to Coker Tire is Honest Charley's Speed Shop

A picture framed blower!

Last time you saw an AMC Pacer Wagon?

HUH?

A Rod Run with Rods? Interesting!

To rod a Packard is sacrilege!

To do it wrong is just a crime!

Local Mustang club took over one street!

I have had a hankering for a Packard for years and while down south this 1947 Packard Clipper Super Touring Sedan pops up!
"Super" makes it a 147" wheelbase a straight 8 and low production of about 4800 total for 4dr Touring sedan and 2dr Club Sedan
You probably noticed the Chevy Truck wheels and then a 5.7 Vortec V8 under the hood backed with a 700R4 Auto overdrive with tilt column!
In dash GPS, CD, USB,Auxiliary Input etc....
Rear seat DVD screen
Autometer gauge panel
Best part is I traded a car of lesser value for it, yes traded!

And you thought it was going to be my new toy!
This Packard was voted Americas Best Roadster!
