Yes 41 years ago this was how the 1st Rod Run was played out!
Rodders converged on Gatlinburg Tennessee and took it over so the State Patrol had to clear the streets!
REALLY!
After all these years although people still bad mouth it (the locals) it did earn some respect and with The Shades of the Past being cancelled due to the virus some show quality rides made it to the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge!
I have had issues with the new format and just before I finished this up all the photos except 3 were deleted so I am just going to re-post the photos again, enjoy!
A glitch with Bloggers new format forced me to just repost these all so just the photos this month.
