Perfect timing for our first big snow of 2014, hope you do not mind that I skipped to Part 2 first. LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOWMOBILE!
Not technically a car museum,but rather impressive and unusual. So you head to Newton Nj and look for The Snowmobile Barn a passion of Mr. and Mrs. Klemm who operate D&K Transport. Growing up in the rather snowy region and having to get down the hill to the cows a snowmobile was the only real choice and it became a lifelong obsession for Dan. Besides some very rare and old Snow machines the 2 buildings are full of everything Snowmobile related! Nice local trip, but plan a trip in warmer days, not heated!! The day I went was appropriate because it was the 1st frigid day. A few cars snuck in as well.
As I was leaving Point Pleasant I found a collector car dealer Future Classics in Lakewood NJ and they were very cool about letting me wander around.
