PIGEON FORGE ROD RUN SPRING 2024 PART 2, TRI-5 GATHERING

Welcome to Part 2 of the Spring Pigeon Forge Rod Run and the Fall Rod Run will be pretty interesting to say the least!
July 1st new law outlawing this;

This is a squated truck, say what?
Here are facts; it has become a trend amongst some young folks, but it has sparked a battle that us old folks don't know what a hot rod is, blah, blah, blah. The old folks seem to be making a hobby out of pushing these kids buttons. The truck guys have targeted the rod run to stir the poop, meanwhile on July 1st it is illegal for obvious safety reasons. CARHUNTER has no idea how anyone sees this as a cool truck?
CARHUNTER has also figured out that these guys are not driving around like this everyday and somehow suspects this to be a temporary modification just to stir it up, I have not seen them at any other show nor driving around.
Maybe we can find the secret squat club site?
The other fall change is that it is now offically illegal to park cars for sale along the right of way, open titles, dealer plates and used car lots in spots are going to be fined or?
Read Part 1 from last month for more info!

The NEW Mrs. CARHUNTER has been taking up my spare time as of late so content may be a bit low until I find a new groove!

CARHUNTER still enjoys the ROD RUN and cars like this nice 1969 Cama, wait it's a late 70's, early 80's El Camino isn't it?

Many Firebirds were out here, like this Trans/Formula LOL

1958 Chevy's are slowly making the scene

Mail has arrived

Where else do you see things like this?

Dub? More like Duh!

Any Camaro's?

Well that's a wrap, really a derelict rust bucket wrap!

Gotta watch the roadway!

Crazy concept!

One of two Volvos, twins seperated at birth look for #2

Can you say SQUAT?

They made a 2 door long roof?

Crazy build showed up around here earlier this year and price has been dropping as it changes hands

What a cool Lincoln

37 Dodge hanging with a 38 Plymouth!

Yikes worse in person!

Got lost in the translation?

Always a bit confusing using the name Classic Chevy Roundup at 1st, it is a local gathering of an old thinking Tri-5 Chevy group, although it has some new transfusion with new blood. Funny how these little club "get togethers' seem to be pretty cool!
One of the members seems to think this is the Tri-5 Nationals Big Show, I gave up trying to explain!

We passed him on teh road and said we got to check that out!

We started with a one of none pickup and ended with another!
