2nd ANNUAL TRIPLE CROWN OF RODDING 2024 THE BEST OF THE BEST?!

As the CARHUNTER grows older and grows tired of the mundane so called car shows a new more focused agenda has emerged! Some may be content going to the local church show to see the same old cars, some of us may want to be dazzled by high dollar builds. CARHUNTER has never been envious of "deep pocket" builds while knowing my cars have and never will reach the levels seen as of late!

Would you buy a CD from a singer that could not carry a tune in a bucket, watch a movie with bad acting or dine in a restaurant where the food was mundane?

Shades of the Past ended and something new was born!

CARHUNTER : THE LAST SHADES OF THE PAST ROD RUN #39 2022, BITTER SWEET WITH A NEW BEGINNING

Bobby Alloway, East Tennessee Hot Rod legend was one of the original members of the Shades of the Past and along with Gary Case, a builder of his own legend having won a Ridler Award teamed up in 2023 with a little push from Chip Foose rolled the dice in 2023 for the First Triple Crown of Rodding which just like that became the premier show in the country!

Enjoy  CARHUNTERS humble coverage from the 2nd annual Triple Crown Of Rodding!

Realizing trucks are big part of the hobby, they are happily welcomed in as one of the jewels of the crown!

The system has changed and for some reason unless I post one photo at a time I can not arrange from the que and they are posted out of order.
The pit area is closed early on Friday so ALL the cars to be judged are in place and that is where CARHUNTER found the best of the best, but don't think the outer fields did not contain some absolute treasures!

CARHUNTER being a 39 Plymouth fan almost missed this one, now missing it's "square" headlamps, tera drop taillamps and some of the grille slots - why oh why?
