TROYS CYCLE AND AUTO SPORT IN ROSCOE ILLINOIS - NEW CAR NEW DIGS

I had been searching for a Challenger for awhile and since my first car was a 71 Challenger that was what I wanted. If you have been following E Bodies as we call em it is very hard to find unmolested original examples for a reasonable price. This low mileage 72 won me over!
This 35000 original mile 1972 Rallye pops up, the car is all original except one repaint which is just about perfect in the original Dark Tan Metallic
The Rallye replaced the R/T in 1972 and gave you the performance hood, HD suspension with front and rear sway bars, rallye wheels, side gills with strobe stripes and rallye instrument cluster sporting tach, clock and full instrumentation
The 318 was the standard engine as in this one
I do not recommend buying cars sight unseen, but when my instinct kicks in I can tell if the car is worth it and this one was!

Notice anything missing? Bucket seats standard, but you needed to check off floor console or you got a column shift and there it is!
The original owner got it through Ohio's Spitzer Dodge that still exists today. He traded the car with only 25,000 miles in for a 1985 Dodge Omni!!
I have all documentation of the car as it was sold used after a 76 Charger was traded in soon after the trade in above
I drove the car 750+ miles to be kept at the new CARHUNTER southern annex in Tennessee, funny the 3rd owner was in Tennessee and now its back there!
Troys proved to be very easy to deal with and the car was 100% as presented, I knew it would be based on about 75 detailed photos because it was that good!
Check out their inventory they have some nice stuff!

Belvidere Illinois Chrysler plant shot from the pilot's seat of the Challenger en route!
It is obvious I was getting attached to Tennessee and with this view from my new bedroom window looking like this can you blame me? Nice backyard, huh?
The photo is taken from the future location of mega garage, perfect more garage space, more cars! Will get that bricked up garage door back open again soon!!

Does it look happy in that big garage, needs a stable mate huh?
