GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY! GUESS WHAT THIS IS, NO EASY HINTS THIS TIME!
Many many cars were attempts to break into that exclusive club, the exotic non-mainstream independants. I doubt I can even give any clues because it may be impossible to ID this car!! It is a car built in the USA and actually for sale right now.

OK CATS OUTA DA BAG
There was an AMX/2 and even an attempt by the son of a designer from AMC to do a retro AMX/4
AMC had many crazy prototypes and concept cars and they got crazier in its dark days of impending doom as they merged into AMC/JEEP> EAGLE> CHRYSLER and poof gone like talent in today's "celebrities".The AMX for those young bucks was AMC's sports car and went through an identity crisis right up the last blood drawn on a Gremlin/Spirit thingy!
Maybe some never heard of AMC?? One day I will do a condensed AMC history and some crazy AMC concept car updates. The best part of this blog is I never will run out of interesting stuff!OOPS left an AMX out!
Mr. Leston is the proud winner of the first CARHUNTER BLOG NAME THAT CAR CONTEST! The prize is an indefinite thing and according to websters that is nothing so it's in the mail.

MANHASSET - SCARSDALE - EASTCHESTER
I had ignored the Americana Concours D'Elegance in Manhasset before thinking it was just a bunch of brand new SUPERCARS Ferrari Lambos and Porsches. My big question is why have this event the same day as the Scarsdale Concours D'Elegance just a half hour away? I have to admit it was kind of neat to see some of the fastest cars all in one place and they did have a nice selection of vintage cars as well, it was free, near by and early start made it possible to shoot up to Scarsdale in time for that event.
Off like a rocket to Scarsdale and the setting is great as you walk through the center of town the cars are all over the place and we got to meet the Mayor (of Scarsdale) and walk into the show with him! Always a great display of unique cars!
Always keep a safe spare tire- yikes!!
A little internet hunting and I find a local car show 1 1/2 miles away in Eastchester and have to admit it was a very nice show.
A nice day of CAR HUNTING and lets fill up the tank and I find this at my local BP station!
